Corporate Website Redesign

ABILITY Network

ABILITY Network had an external corporate website that was outdated, slow, and non-responsive. It could only be updated by an outside developer which made changes expensive and time-consuming. To resolve these issues, I used WordPress to create an entirely new website for ABILITY that was beautiful, user-friendly, and responsive. Most importantly, the entire marketing team had access to the site so updates could be made instantly, at no outside expense.

Steps I took to create the new website:

  • Worked with the Marketing team to define goals
  • Defined the navigation and created a wireframe
  • Collaborated with the copywriter to define and create content
  • Chose a responsive WordPress template
  • Gathered all assets – images, logos and videos
  • Built the site in under 4 months doing 95% of the work myself
  • Outsourced custom development to a freelance developer in California
  • Gathered multiple groups for various rounds of user testing
Making work easier for 100K enrolled users

myABILITY customer portal

myABILITY is a user-friendly online delivery platform that gives more than 100k enrolled users access to all of their ABILITY services. I collaborated with an agency in Boston to give the platform a much-needed facelift that made it even easier for customers to navigate the complexities of healthcare.

Steps I took to complete this project:

  • Participated in weekly calls with ABILITY executives and members of a Boston digital agency
  • Collaborated with the agency to decide parameters of the UX/UI
  • Created all finished designs based on basic wireframes that were sent by the agency
  • Created the color scheme, custom icons, and sections of the layout to coincide with the ABILITY brand
